SHOES WITH BOWS

ROSECANDLE11

I think it's been so so long since I did my last haul, it's about time again! These shoes I accumulated throughout the past weeks and as you can see, yes I have an obsession with bows, haha. Why did I bought all these shoes? Well, since I'm going to start my new job very soon I needed a little bit of an update. I know a new job isn't necessarily a good reason for shopping but since the new place I'll be working at is a lot more posh I definitely have to upgrade some of my everyday pieces. The office I'm working at now is very laid-back and focused on streetwear, I never had to "worry" about what to wear. I'm very excited about putting together dressier outfits though. And here they are, my three new cute shoes (with bows).

A pair of leopard flats is a must-have in my closet! I used to have a similar pair but omg they are so old and worn-out. My new pair is from Dorothy Perkins {here}. You can wear them with so many outfits whether with pants or dresses, casual or chic. However I have to say that these are not the best in quality - I feel like my feet can't breathe because of the fake-ish plastic material.

Left is a pair of pointy flats by H&M. It was those kind of love at first sights... I was so in love with them that I bought them even though they didn't have my size! Remember to always size up if they don't have your size (rather than size down) because you can always put soles in and make them tighter for your feet - that's what I did with mine. Right is a pair from Topshop, I would describe them as pointy loafers with little bulky heels. I've actually never worn them out but I can't wait to! They seriously look so cool.

MARMARIS {TRAVEL DIARY}

ROSECANDLE11

What's the best thing to do when holidays are over? Right, looking through your last holiday pics! That's exactly what I did here - except for this time I also have a vlog ready! You heard it right... I made a video! I've never done something like this before but I swear I tried my best to put together a good content video, what do you think? I hope that through these photos & the video I'm able to bring summer vibe to your place. Have fun watching & let me know if you liked the video :-)

BAG TO SCHOOL

ROSECANDLE11

_________________________________________________________________________________

I've been seeing "Back To School" blogposts and videos a lot lately and thought I could do one myself! I know that, like me, some of you have already started school / uni. But it's never too late to look at more suitable bags, right? Since I study and work part-time it's really important to me that the bag is convenient for both places, therefor my favorite shapes are the shopper and tote bags because they're usually very spacious and have longer straps so that you can carry them over your shoulder. I've put some of my affordable favorites together, what do you think? The second one looks really cool and is definitely my favorite out of the bunch, I haven't seen it live (at H&M) though... Let me know if you have already seen it in person :-)

SUMMER 2015, YOU WERE...

ROSECANDLE11
pictures by me, taken in Marmaris, Turkey during summer 2015

Summer 2015, you were amazing! I don't want to say that summer is actually over but at least the holidays are... I can't believe that school / uni is already starting again. Who else is going back to the class room? I have my first lecture of the semester this evening and I'm kind of torn. I do love school but then again I think about the beach, the palmtrees, the beautiful scenarios of this Turkish city... I guess this German saying really suits in here: First work, then pleasure. To anyone who's going back to school: Have a wonderful start & rock this new year. Stay focused and always give your best :-)

PS: My travel pics are coming soon! There are seriously so many of them, I need to narrow them down first...

STYLE ICON: SHERYL LUKE

ROSECANDLE11
Once in a while I like to introduce you to some of my style icons. I follow so many amazing fashion bloggers that it's just fair to share some of them with you. Sharing is caring ;-) I don't know about you but my number one fashion inspiration source comes from the internet, mostly fashion bloggers. It would be very interesting to know where you get your daily outfit inspos from? Today I want to introduce you to Sheryl Luke - she runs the blog Walkinwonderland. I discovered her blog about six months ago and fell in love with it immediately, I follow her on Instagram & Snapchat as well (creeper) but I just can't get enough of how gorgeous she is.

I've picked out some of her outfits: Her pants & heels combos are my favorite! I would seriously wear all of her outfits here exactly the same way - that's how much I love her style haha. Another thing I like about her is that she keeps her accessories very simpel, she doesn't get too crazy with colors and patterns either. I hope you like her as much as I do and I hope that I was able to bring another style icon to your favorites! See you soon x

THE FINDS

ROSECANDLE11

Monday is always the hardest day - for me at least. It's the day where I feel most saggy and in search of motivation. Therefor I like to begin the day with something really fun such as watching my favorite youtubers, reading a fashion magazine, scroll through the internet... Something little and simple like that can definitely boost my mood and make my Monday start perfectly. Today I visited some online stores and stumbled across these five gorgeous items.

{one: Flowy Trench by Mango}
I'm in love with the color grey. It's not as heavy as black but also not as light as white... It's something in between and that makes me love it so much. Also it's so easy to wear it with different colors and styles. I already have a trench coat (actually more than one) but a grey one is still missing...

{two: Cut Out Top by ASOS}
Basics are phenomenal - but sometimes I like them whit a twist, if you know what I mean. Sometimes I don't just want a plain shirt... Add a nice print, cut or material to it and I'm over the moon!

{three: Cat Eye Sunglasses by Marc by Marc Jacobs}
Trust me, I've had a ton of differently shaped sunglasses and I had to realize that only one shape suits me the best: It's the (slight) cat eye! I would say that my head is very round (and big, haha) so the cat eye makes it look edgier.

{four: Peach Blossom Midi Skirt by chicwish}
At the moment I have a thing for midi skirts & midi dresses... I don't know why but I feel attracted to the midi-length haha. It looks really classy and posh - I love the feeling of being very feminine when wearing one of these.

{five: Contrast Toe Leather Pumps by Givenchy}
Ok, if I would really buy myself these exact same heels it would be hell of a splurge! But you know... Girls are allowed to dream :-) I'm just really into classy black heels... And again the white toe cap gives the whole thing that kind of twist that I'm desperately in love with.

I hope you had an amazing Monday so far and will continue to have an amazing week!
